Morphing navigation sign

Because of my bad sense of direction, I always pay extra attention to the navigation signs indoor and outdoor. Sometimes I find myself confused when the sign is hanging on a door or trying to tell me go backwards.

This makes me wonder if a navigation sign could allow multi modalities, meaning change the pointing direction easily in a physical space based on need.

With the help of basic soft circuit, I made a magnetic arrow lamp that is able to adjust its direction easily based on context change. 

1. Simple snap to Up/Down, Left/Right

2. Changing directions in 3D spaces when needed

3. Most importantly, pointing backwards

Now it doesn't need to worry about an opening door or backward instruction.
